Do you know the three R’s of Employee Motivation?

Posted August 3, 2007 by Nathalie

Smart managers never overlook this fact: loyal, productive employees are one of your biggest assets. From corporate cubicles to the factory floor, it’s the collective skills and efforts of PEOPLE that keep your operation going. Thus, mastering the art of employee motivation techniques is crucial to maintaining a work environment that is good for both the company and the employees.

You can easily set the right tone in the workplace by learning to respond to a basic need we all share… which is to be respected and valued.

Respect
Everyone wants to be treated with respect. And as a company owner or manager, your words, body language, even your facial expressions can make a huge difference in how employees perceive your opinion of them. For instance, extending common courtesies such as a “Good morning” or a nod as you pass workers in the hallway says to them that they are not invisible to you. Other demonstrations of respect could include asking employees for suggestions to improve operations and/or management. It’s another way of saying, “I respect and value your opinions.” Even offering constructive criticism, in private, to a worker who may have missed the mark says, “I respect you enough not to embarrass you in front of your co-workers…”

Recognition
Two powerful words are important in employee motivation… “Great Job!” By recognizing the work of others, you motivate them to keep working. You’ll find that regularly giving verbal or written praise for a job well done goes a long way in making employees feel appreciated. If workers feel that they play an important part in the company by the work they provide, then they are much more likely to seek ways to improve their performance. Yearly award ceremonies are also a great idea. Popular recognition gifts for such events are personalized crystal corporate gifts.

Reward
While cash incentives are a sure way to put a smile on an employee’s face, there are other creative ways to motivate employees through “thoughtful” gestures. For individual rewards, how about gift certificates for DVD rentals, music CD purchases, theme park tickets or “Dinner for 2″ at a local eatery? For group or departmental appreciations, consider useful corporate gifts such as ones listed on Greatest Corporate Gifts. You are limited only by your imagination and budget.

Placing respect, recognition and reward at the heart of your employee motivation efforts will serve to boost morale, increase productivity and positively affect the company’s bottom-line. A WIN-WIN-WIN situation for all.

Secret weapon Internet Marketers are now using to get Loads of Web Site Traffic.

Are You Ready To Claim Your Share Of *Endless*
Untapped Traffic & Instantly Profitable Domain Names?!

(No, this is not about expired domain names!…)

Have you heard the stories of everyday individuals
making tons-of-cash by buying and selling domain
names?

It’s exciting stuff!

There’s actually an entire underground industry
that revolves around people making millions-of-dollars
through buying and selling domain names.

They call themselves “domainers”, and they make a
good chunk of their moola from what is referred to
as “type in” traffic. That’s when you enter a
domain name directly into your Internet address bar
and click GO rather than using the search engines.

“No one knows for sure how much Web traffic comes
from type-ins, and Google and Yahoo execs won’t
discuss it. But privately, during one of the
late-night parties at the Traffic conference, one
Yahoo official estimates that type-ins could make
up 15 percent of its search business!” -money.cnn.com

This means that with a hot keyword-based domain
name, not ONLY can you rank more highly in the search
engines (since your domain name is a critical pc.
of criteria looked at by search engines). It also
means that you can get DIRECT traffic by people
typing your domain into their browsers!

After researching this industry, and getting extremely
excited by the endless possibilities, the proverbial light bulb
went off for my friend Bryan Winters, leading him to create
a slick new software program that enables ANYBODY
(with access) to come up with profitable domain names
within minutes…

He calls his software the “Untapped Traffic Generator!”

It’s very simple software, but the result is extremely
powerful. It enables you to type in a keyword or
keyword phrase such as (real estate), and it then
lists all available .com domain names closely
related to the keyword you enter. Cool, ey?!

Let me give you an example… Bryan recently logged in to
the private Untapped Traffic Generator search form to find
a hot domain name, entered the keyword “video games”, and
one of the listings returned was for the keyword phrase and
available domain name:

“video game editor” / videogameeditor.com AVAILABLE!

This phrase was searched 21,421 times last month according
to Overture’s Search Term Suggestion Tool (now called
the Yahoo Keyword Selector Tool). And that’s just on
their network! Also, the exact phrase “video game
editor” in quotes is listed over 19,000 times on Google!

That phrase took about 15 minutes to find. Now, one of
Bryan’s newsletter subscribers already grabbed that domain
name up (do a whois lookup and you’ll see it was JUST
registered on the 17th) – since Bryan offered it up-for-
grabs as a free gift. But the point here is that the Untapped
Traffic Generator software does *exactly* what Bryan claims
it does, and there are many thousands more domains waiting
to be discovered by YOU!

So what would YOU do with the domain names you find?

1. You could sell the domain outright, on eBay or
elsewhere, citing how many monthly searches were
done on the keyword it contains (a powerful selling
incentive)!

or…

2. You could set up a content/adsense web-site based
on the domain keyword. Google places a much higher
relevancy on domains which contain the main keyword
of the featured site. In his FIRST test using this
tool, Bryan was able to get a top 3 Google placement
on a keyword that was searched on over 5,000 times
the prior month! (The number of times *you* could
REPEAT this process is almost endless!)

or…

3. You could COMBINE the two above… Register a hot
keyword domain name, create a site based on the
keyword, and sell the site along with domain name
as a complete package!

So how do you get your hands on this software?

Well, it’s not for sale directly (not yet anyhow).
But the good news is that for a limited time, Bryan is
offering it as a BONUS to those who sign up for IGR at:

http://www.infogoround.com

This is easily a $197 value! Bryan paid $400 to have
the software developed, and he obviously also maintains
the server from which it runs.

This may be your only chance to grab the software for
NO COST as a bonus when you join IGR!…

http://www.infogoround.com

Here For Your Success,

Nathalie

P.S. This IS a limited time offer as Bryan doesn’t want
the software to become saturated. So this is strictly
first come, first serve.

Once again, here’s the link to join – this one’s too good
to pass up if you ask me!…

http://www.infogoround.com

P.P.S. To claim your bonus after joining IGR, please
send a copy of your receipt to to their support email
address following your order, and they will send you
the private access link, along with a 1 page tutorial (the
software is *extremely* easy to use).

Successful Internet Marketing requires you find a Niche

Posted December 9, 2006 by Nathalie

Everywhere you go online, you hear the same thing – You must find a niche for your business. If you are new to Internet Marketing, this is advice you will do well to pay heed to.

Every day thousands more people come online in search of wealth. Many jump right into the markets that are already completely saturated and then wonder why they are not making any money.

Given unlimited time, money and patience, they might succeed. For those that do not have unlimited supplies of these precious resources, aiming for a smaller niche market can be a much smarter way to start your online business.

So just what is a niche?

If you want the long answer, you can buy any one of the thousands of e-books being sold online about niche markets. You can go to a dictionary and see what definition of niche it gives. But the short answer is niche simply means distinct or individual.

Everyone and their mother wants to start a business focusing on Internet Marketing. This is how the big guns are making all their money, so it must be the way to go. That is the problem. The market is totally saturated with people who have years of experience in this area. A new person trying to compete in such a broad market does not have much chance of success.

On About.com, Susan Ward defines Internet Marketing as “the strategies that are used to market a product or service online, marketing strategies that include search engine optimization and search engine submission, copywriting that encourages site visitors to take action, web site design strategies, online promotions, reciprocal linking, and email marketing”. A new person coming online to start a business has little chance of knowing enough about all the above areas to be able to compete in this market.

So how is a new person to have any chance at success?

Thing Smaller – Think Niche!

Just from the above definition you can come up with the following pieces or niches:

Marketing
Search Engine Optimization
Copywriting
Web Site Design
Promotion
Linking
Email Marketing

Even if you are lucky and are extremely experienced already in one of the above niches, you will still have a lot of competition in such broad niches. This may be what you decide to do in the end, but at least be willing to explore niches within the broader areas. You may find a niche you are much better suited to.

When it comes to finding a niche market, the best resource available online is Wordtracker. You can find pieces of this program on different sites and software programs but Wordtracker brings everything together in one place for those trying to find a good niche to go into.

Using Wordtracker is a breeze. If you want to break Internet Marketing down to many more niche markets, just type in Internet Marketing and look at all the ideas that pop up. Each of these can become keywords that you decide you want to focus your niche on. Or you can pop in those keywords and keep defining your niche.

Using Wordtracker, what you will end with is a list of niche keywords that you can focus your Internet business on. Having a smaller niche will give you a much better shot at being successful then trying to build a site around a broad topic like Internet Marketing.

Remember, success in any business always comes back to supplying a product that the public has a demand for and that the market has room for. Find the right niche and you are on the right path.

Marketing to ‘Get Attention’

Every business owner knows that the key to success is how well you market your business. Your business is not any different. Success depends on your marketing strategies.

There are many different marketing techniques with many different price tags attached to them. Depending on your type of business, you will need to develop a marketing plan that generates sufficient customers to reach your goals.

Using many different marketing techniques will quickly drain your bank account. Your first goal will be to determine how you can reach the most people for the least amount of money.

Here is one marketing technique that is cost efficient and a little more adventurous for you the “Business Owner.”

Become an Expert

What is your business? Look around at your competition. How do they present themselves to the general public? How can you present yourself differently?

Go buy a local newspaper, local magazine, listen to your local radio station; watch your local TV station. Are any of your competitors currently marketing themselves as an expert in your field?

Contact your local media and discuss the various ways that you could work with them. Local newspapers and magazines will have opportunities to write “Advice” articles. Local radio and TV stations may have talk shows that could host you weekly or monthly.

Contact the various local organizations that are looking for speakers for their monthly luncheons. Your Chamber of Commerce is an ideal place to start. Join your Chamber and get an article about you and your business published in their monthly magazine.

Study your customers and choose the type of media that would reach them. Talk to your current customers and ask them to give you their opinion about which area you should market in. Find out what they listen to and what they read, and what organizations they belong to.

What type of personality do you have?

Make sure that your personality matches your marketing strategy. Radio and TV would be a perfect match for you if you enjoy speaking in front of people, have an outgoing personality and a voice that carries well. Newspaper and magazine article writing will be perfect for you if you do not enjoy speaking in front of groups.

Becoming an expert in your area of business will not take years to achieve. Stay on top of the latest news about your business. Subscribe to trade publications to keep informed about new trends. The Internet offers many ways to stay informed on any topic.

The key to becoming an expert is to take the knowledge you have and the new information received and decide how your customers can benefit from this information. Not all news is beneficial to your customers.

Your goal is to cause your customers to look at you as the one to come to when they need what you are selling. You want them to refer their family and friends to you.

Don’t be shy. Go out there and market yourself as the expert that you are. The more exposure that you receive, the more exposure your business will receive.

Wow does time fly! It’s already November and the holidays are just around the corner.

To ensure repeat business it’s important to remember your clients during the holidays.

One of the best ways of keeping in touch with your client is by sending them a nice promotional item to thank them for their business.

You can also include a custom holiday greeting card with your company logo and custom text.

Clients will appreciate your thoughtfulness and will think about you when they are looking for a product or service that you offer.

The #1 Thing Most Marketers Forget About When Advertising

Posted September 19, 2006 by Nathalie

What is the the #1 thing most marketers forget about when advertising?

Answer: YOU!

That’s right… as pretty as your business card may be, your brochures, even your web site… if your personal appearance isn’t up to par, that will affect your sales and your business.

The truth is that people like doing business with those they like, and those that they are attracted to.

So pay attention to your clothes, your hygiene, the condition of your shoes.

Some even say that your hair cut has relevance. Some people are turned off by baldness or hair loss, so if this is your problem one great resource for hair loss answers
and advice
is http://hairloss-medication-and-baldness-treatments.info. This also applies to thinning hair
in women
.

So don’t forget about yourself!
